Gary Mack Gary Mack founded the company in early 1997, after having served as a press secretary to Illinois Governor Jim Edgar for more than six years. He served as a key political advisor and strategist for both of Edgar’s successful gubernatorial campaigns. He continues to serve as a senior political strategist for candidates across Illinois.

Nathan Brown Nathan Brown is Senior Account Supervisor for Mack Communications, overseeing the day-to-day operations for company accounts in order to ensure maximum client satisfaction.

Marcy O'Boyle Jensen After several years on Capitol Hill, Marcy O’Boyle Jensen joined the Cook County state’s attorney’s office where she served as a spokeswoman for 15 years. Since then, she has worked for businesses, government agencies and associations doing strategic communications and outreach.

Steven Brubaker Steven Brubaker is Mack's Springfield associate, assisting with government relations and monitoring legislation important to Mack clients. Steve has extensive experience in legislative and regulatory affairs.
Steve served on the political staff of former Illinois Congressman Bob Michel and is a former legislative liaison at the office of the Illinois State Treasurer's office. He has worked on a range of concerns, including telecommunications, health care and energy issues.
Wes Bleed For 25 years, Wes Bleed could be heard reporting and anchoring the news on WGN Radio in Chicago. He served as assignment editor, assistant news director and news director. For many years he hosted a weekly live public affairs news magazine.
Before joining the firm, Wes was Communications Director for Republican Kirk Dillard’s campaign for Illinois governor. He served as campaign spokesman and was responsible for speech-writing, press relations and campaign web site content. wes@mackcommunications.com

Mary Kay Dawson Mary Kay Dawson is Mack's grass roots and grass tops outreach liaison. She is a long time public affairs expert who has lived her entire life in the city of Chicago. Dawson has provided political counsel to elected officials and understands the workings of government in Chicago and Cook County as well as in Springfield. She has also worked with numerous corporate clients.
Mary Kay has a strong background in government and media. She knows how legislation becomes law and what drives media coverage for our clients.
